Step 1: Getting to Kyoto Station from International Airports
International visitors typically arrive via Kansai International Airport (KIX), which offers direct train service to Kyoto Station via the JR Limited Express HARUKA in about 75 minutes. Those arriving at Tokyo airports (Narita or Haneda) can either take a domestic connecting flight to Osaka Itami Airport (ITM), from which airport buses reach Kyoto Station in approximately 60 minutes, or travel by Tokaido Shinkansen from Tokyo Station, which takes around 2 hours and 15 minutes to Kyoto.

Step 2: From Kyoto Station to Kyoto Tachibana University
Note for travelers with large luggage: Kyoto city buses have limited space for luggage. If you have large suitcases, consider using a taxi or luggage delivery service to your hotel, then travel to the university with smaller bags.

- Take JR train from Kyoto Station to Yamashina (山科) Station (approximately 5 minutes)
- Take Keihan Bus (routes 26 or 26A) from Yamashina Station (bus stop location) to "Oyake" (大宅) bus stop or "Kyoto Tachibana University" (京都橘大学) bus stop
- Walk approximately 5 minutes from Oyake bus stop to campus (or arrive directly if the bus goes to Kyoto Tachibana University stop)
Note: This is the most recommended route for most visitors. On Saturdays, buses directly to Kyoto Tachibana University are limited.
